Welcome to Uranium Speculator!
My name is Jimmy.
I started this newsletter, honestly, out of frustration by how difficult it was to find good, consistent, and trustworthy coverage of the uranium sector, that didn’t cost several hundred £’s a year.
There was – and still is – a lot of noise out there, hype, rumours and half-baked takes – lacking both grounded technical and statistical analysis.
So, decided to publish the kind of newsletter(s) I wanted to read.
The Morning Espresso, is an (almost) daily publication, wrapping up the previous day’s trading action and highlighting any notable news, whilst also sharing my take and analysis.
And once a month, the Uranium Speculator Monthly Newsletter dives deeper — exploring the key supply-demand fundamentals, the spot and long-term prices of U3O8, and takes a closer look at the various uranium-related equities on our watchlist table.
My education is in Environmental & Natural Resource Economics, and more recently, Mandarin (I know, it’s a random mix).
I’ve spent a year living in Japan; a long time in America researching and completing my MSc thesis in North Carolina with the USDA; And five years living in China. Now I’m back in ‘old Blighty’.
The hope is that the Morning Espresso & the Uranium Speculator Monthly Newsletter will provide you - and anyone who you may share it with - additional value and insight; helping you better follow & understand this relatively tiny, niche, often-neglected sector – the uranium sector.
